My experience was really awesome!
I had to attend my friend's wedding at Four Seasons on the day but woke up to a typhoon 8 signal (continued from the previous day). Needless to say no one went to work in the beauty industry in Hong Kong, and my make-up booking at another place was "cancelled" by default without any notification at all (even from the day before when the T8 signal was going to be hoisted). I tried to call them to check if they were open and in the end I had to call the mall to confirm that the shop was closed.
ON THE OTHER HAND, I got a text from Matsuoka-san (Ash) in the morning, asking if I would still like to have my hair styled (I had noted during booking that it is for a wedding). It looks like despite all his other clients cancelling for the day, he still went back to the shop just for me so that I could be ready for the wedding (this is traditional, reliable Japanese service at its core, and it is so respectable and rare).
My other friend was one of those people that had her hair styling appointment "ghosted" by her salon, and was unable to reach anyone in her salon to confirm whether the shop would still open (yes of course it is normally closed). Needless to say, I asked her to have her hair done with Matsuoka-san and he gladly helped us.
So thank you Matsuoka-san for going back to the store just for the two of us! We became the rare few who were able to have our hair done (maybe others just have their own make-up artists)!

The haircut process was just as meticulous as the dyeing. She frequently checked in with me to ensure I was happy with the length and style, which I greatly appreciated. The attention to detail was evident, and I could tell that Golda was genuinely passionate about her craft.
Final Results
Once the haircut was complete, I was thrilled with the final result! The color was vibrant and rich, and the cut was exactly what I had envisioned. I left the salon feeling like a new person, with hair that looked and felt amazing. Overall Experience In addition to the fantastic services, I must commend the overall atmosphere of Hair Quest. The staff was friendly and professional, creating a welcoming environment that made the entire experience enjoyable. The salon was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus in my book.

😍 Came here a few times for scalp treatment. Less hair loss is noted and the scalp is less reddish. Can also tell the big difference from the before and after photos. Ash spent time to understand the condition of your scalp and always suggested the most suitable treatment. Recommended!

Superb Japanese hair salon! Over the years Ash has always known exactly what to do with my hair, offering great advice, and I trust him with my hair 100%. Ash is a top quality stylist, who takes his work seriously but with a relaxed sense of humour. He designed the new hair salon with an aesthetically pleasing modern Japanese style, which is always clean and bright. It is also clear to see the high standard they hold themselves - from the offer of a drink upon arrival (usually hot tea for me), quality natural hair products (the Italian shampoo always leaves my hair feeling extra soft and silky) to the hot towel after the hair rinse (not sure I've experienced this anywhere else). I always leave the salon feeling pampered with great hair - highly recommended. 10/10.

Wonderful experience! Ash is very meticulous and pays great attention to detail. I tried Henna colouring for the first time, it's been a week and my hair is super shiny and soft. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a more natural colouring option. Also love my haircut, which Ash made sure is low maintenance. I'm so happy to be able to just dry my hair and have it look as great as it did at the salon.
